Dear people who write x readers.
Could you please include “x reader” in the tags, I, personally, don’t read x reader fanfics, and it’s a pain for me to go through all character x reader tags.
You guys do great work, but I’m really tired of thinking I found a fic for a ship, but it’s just an x reader.

In the Halloween Comic, it is mentioned that Medic has a "German Tourist Routine" where he goes out looking like a tourist so that people will mug him, so he can harvest their organs.
Imagining Medic just in the like... stereotypical shorts and suspenders, a button up shirt, knee high socks, and a Polaroid camera around his neck, taking pictures of shit, trying to look as lost and innocent as possible.
All the while he has to actively hold back the evil laughter and horrid little grin as people fall for his clever disguise.
A buff, hairy, fully grown man with a powerful jaw, dressed up like a little cartoon German boy with a lollipop, but looking at you with a Kubrick Stare and grinning from ear to ear as he daydreams about what he's going to do with your liver.

I want mental health to be so normalised that little children can tell their parents if they’re feeling mentally ill just like they would if they had a stomach ache or a fever.
I want mental health to be so normalised that school lets you go home after a panic attack episode like they do if you sustain an injury.
I want mental health to be so normalised that when someone’s in recovery the people around them ask for progress reports and send get well soon cards just like they would for any other sort of recovery.
I want mental health to be normalised because every mental health disorder is just as frightening, just as damaging as a life threatening injury and we pass people by every day who are so unwell in this sense but who don’t receive a fraction of the care they deserve just because mental health is unseen.
Just because you can’t see it doesn’t mean mental illness don’t exist.

So important! I work in mental health and in my experience this is the biggest issue that people with mental disorders face. Things like depression and anxiety are just as physical as any medical issue, they’re just harder to see. We have to fight the stigma and educate people about this shit.
